Absolutely beautiful! Great fishing and sport boating. Many places for campers or tents. There is an adorable gathering now and then for the youth so parents can enjoy a long weekend with nature! The deer walk right up to you which is a thrill. And if interested you can rent boats!
One of the first places we plan on visiting in the spring when we get our camper up and running. Scenic, beautiful, fishing, reasonable Animal control. Great overall environment.

The campground is ginormous, where I was, the trip to the shower houses was a bit of a hike, but not too bad. We also had a great view of the lake(Defeated Creek). I really recommend this place... phenomenal!
Found this place out of luck when we were trying to find a place to stay for the solar eclipse. Beautiful spot. Very clean campground and restrooms/shower areas. We didn't do any fishing but this place seems like a gold mine for any fisherman. Our camp area was very large and had water and electric hook up right there. Also a fire pit and a picnic table at every spot. The only thing i wish they had was a hiking map and more of there hiking trails marked. We only stayed 2 nights but we had a blast. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future camping trips.
